Acidtrip /Тома Соколов, 28/ е един от основателите на HMSU. Още от дете се занимава с музика, преминавайки през различни стилове, докато открие себе си в Drum'n'Bass звученето. Като DJ стила му е ориентиран предимно към вокални drum'n'bass и ragga-jungle парчета. Сетовете, които представя на живо са изпълнени с позитивни емоции и настроение. Факта, че много малко български dj представят подобно звучене в клубовете дава една своеобразна уникалност на Acidtrip и HMSU като платформа за неговите изяви. Тома заема и ключова позиция при самата организация на HMSU събитията.

Acidtrip /Toma Sokoloff, 28/ is one of the founders of HMSU. He was interested in music since he has been a child, trying many different genres until he finds himself in the drum'n'bass sound. As a DJ his style is vocal-oriented including different ragga-jungle, hipsteppin drum'n'bass tunes. His live sets are full of positive vibes and emotions. The fact that only few Bulgarian DJs represent that sound makes Acidtrip unique and original and HMSU the definite platform for his performances. That has a key position in the very organization of all the HMSU events.

Targy /Димитър Димитров/ е един от основателите на HMSU. В началото на 1996 година е понесен от пънк движението, в последствие минава през тежките HARD CORE ритми, и бързите TRANCE елементи. През 1998 открива Adam F и Ganja Cru. след което Drum&Bass-a се превръща в негов фаворитен стил. С Acidtrip успяват да реализират и първата крачка към dnb сцената в България с първия летен дръм енд бейс фестивал "Балша 2001".

Targy e oсновен организатор на партитата в периода 2001-2003г. Стилът му може да се опише като един от най тежките TECHSTEP и HARDSTEP варианти с мнoжество дрил елементи и метал вокали. Освен локалните партита в които участва в България, през 2005 година взима участие в Substil VI в Буkурещ. През 2004 заедно с DUMMY Corp взима участие в Лондонския клуб The Horse Hospiral.

На дръм и бас сцената се е изявявал с имена като GameOver(MK), DarkoStepic(MK), Psychofreud(Nor), Dj Zen(UK), Ray Keith(UK), Robyn Chaos (UK), Bryan Gee(UK) & Mc Darrison(UK), Future Prophecies(Nor), Proket(Prode, RUS), Adam Strang(AUT), Dark East Cru(RO).

Targy (Dimitur Dimitrov) is the other founder of HMSU. While in beginning of 1996 he is influenced by the punk movement he later turns to the heavy HARD CORE rhythms and the fast TRANCE elements. In the beginning of 1998 he finds records Adam F. and Ganja Cru. and henceforth the Drum&Bass becomes his favorite style. Together with Acidtrip, Targy managed to realize the first step to the DnB stage namely the first festival in Balsha in 2001. Targy is the main organizer of the parties in the period 2001-2003.

His style can be described as one of the heaviest TECHSTEP and HARDSTEP variations with a great deal of drill elements and metal vocals. Apart of the local parties in Bulgaria he also participated in Subsil-VI in Bucharest in 2005. In 2004 together with DUMMY corp.

He took part in the London club The Horse Hospiral. On the drum'n'bass stage he has performed together with names like GameOver(MK), DarkoStepic(MK), Psychofreud(Nor), Dj Zen(UK), Ray Keith(UK), Robyn Chaos (UK), Bryan Gee(UK) & Mc Darrison(UK), Future Prophecies(Nor), Proket(Prode, RUS), Adam Strang(AUT), Dark East Cru(RO).

Ogonek+Cooh /Валери Шолевски и Иван Шопов/ са едни от най-успешните продуценти на родната електронна сцена. Уникалното им стилово звучене се определя от невероятната смесица от твърд дръм енд бейс с мелодични елементи. Представянето на тяхната продукция през последните години се осъществява, както с изпълнение на авторски парчета в техни миксове, така и в тези на много други международни и родни артисти. Сред значимите лични постижения на Cooh за последната година могат да се изброят: издаването на 5 плочи за Англииския лейбъл - Сигнал Рекордингс(Signal Recordings), в колаборация заедно с продуцентите Diode(USA) и Odity(UK); както и участието му на Варненският и "Аполония" Джаз Фестивали с квинтета на известният български барабанист Стоян Яанкулов. Ogonek + Cooh( Valeri Sholevski and Ivan Shopov) are among the most successful producers on the Bulgarian electronic scene. The unique sound produce is defined by incredible mix of heavy drum'n'bass with mellow elements. Their recent productions might be heard not only in their own live sets but in the sets of many international and native artists.

Among the notable personal achievements of Cooh are: the issuing of five records for the English label Signal Records in collaboration with the producers Diode (USA) and Odity(UK); as well as his participation in the Varna Jazz Festival “Apolonia“ together with the quintet of the famous Bulgarian drummer Stoyan Yankoulov.

Ogonek's achievements include the release of LP for the Australian net label IGI Records and the production of two video clips of Ogonek and Cooh which were warmly welcomed by the Bulgarian drum‘n’bass fans.

Mocks /Димо Пангелов/ е най-свежото попълнение сред артистите в HMSU. Той успява едва за няколко месеца да се наложи като успешен DJ на българската drum'n'bass сцена и да събере завидна популярност.

В ранна възраст, докато пребивава в чужбина, Mocks се сблъсква с местните drum'n'bass и hardcore/gabba движения. Следва две години тежьк "rave" период... По това време България вече е инфектирана от H.M.S.U. движението. Закачен за електронният звук Mocks бързо развива уменията си и не след дълго получава шанс да се присъедини към движещата организация на H.M.S.U.

Повлиян от старият oldskuul хип-хоп и фънк, Mocks представя като част от своя сет и уникални скречове които се превръщат бързо в част от концепцията му за изпълнения на живо. Стилът му може да се определи като прав, раздвижен Old-School drum'n'bass. Mocks засега е единственият DJ който построява сетовете си от 99% стари, класически тракове, но едва ли ще познаете някой от тях.

Mocks (Dimo Panguelov) is the one that have most recently joined H.M.S.U.

Reaching the age of 12 Mocks was living in Hungary. There he met the local Drum and Bass and Hardcore/Gabba soundbwoyz. The effect was a heavy duty rave period! Later Mocks was influenced by the oldschool style, the hip-hop and the funk. Meanwhile Bulgaria was already infected by the H.M.S.U. movement. Hooked on electronics Mocks fast developed his skills and soon after that he had the chance to join the Hard Music and Sounds United.

As a part of his sets Mocks presents unique scratches which become, for a short time, a part of his conception for live performance. Only for a few months he managed to impose himself on the Bulgarian Drum and Bass stage as a successful DJ and to achieve definite popularity.

His style can be described as "Fast-Moving Old-School Tech Jump-up Drum and Bass". Mocks is still the one and only Dj in Bulgaria that builds his sets 99% from pure old-school Drum and Bass.You will hardly hear anything that you have ever heard before! Unique every time, digging into the loads of music Mocks represents the original "back in dayz" Drum and Bass selection.

"My main vision is to give dem people a feeling that they hadn't felt for long time, to give dem a feelings that only the true old-school tunes can give you. Its a mix of feelings, some of them are totally opposite. It is so balanced! I think the whole music is moving with a different idea than before. I hope someday I have the knowledge to create dnb into ma old-school way!"

Konspirator /Мартин Попов, 21/ е едно от най-утвърдилите се имена на родната drum'n'bass сцена. Сетовете му - приятна смес от тежки бас линии, мелодични рага вокали и разчупени бийтове, придружени с лайв скречове и фънки елементи – разкриват необятното разнообразие на този тип музика. Представена по подобавящ начин, тя му носи все по-голяма популярност не само сред българската, но и сред балканската публика като цяло. За това недвусмислено говорят както трите му успешни изяви в Румъния, така и изборът му за "Най-добър DJ за 2004" от обществото на най-големия български drum'n'bass портал - Drumandbass.cult.bg.

Konspirator (Martin Popov, 22) is one of the leading DJs on the Bulgarian drum’n’bass scene. Always messing with different music at his young age, he understands that dnb culture is what fits most to his interests and identity, after his first touch with it in 1999. Listening to every beat he could find at that time, Martin soon starts teaching himself on basic mixing skills.

As “konspirator” he first shows on the Bulgarian scene in 2001, and since then he has always been there. His sets - a pleasant mix of heavy and techy bass lines, melodic ragga vocals and various beats, accompanied with live scratches and funky elements – reveal the endless diversity of this type of music. Being a top performer he gained popularity not only in Bulgaria but among the Balkan public as a whole. Зад краткия псевдоним EXo се крие Георги Пенков - човек с разностранни увлечения и занимания. 26-годишен, той вече има зад гърба си сериозен опит с музиката - като DJ, продуцент, промоутър, музикален журналист и най-вече като запален меломан. Отворен е към всеки нов стил с достатъчна доза експеримент и идеи в него. Интересът му към правенето и смесването на музика датира от почти 10 години. С характерните за него перфекционизъм и енергия, EXo търси звука както в бийтбоксинг-а и свиренето на тарамбука, така и в продуцирането на парчета, вариращи между IDM, ембиънт и дъб.

В HMSU поема голяма част от нелеките организационни дейности за всяко парти, но никога не обръща гръб и на увлечението си по миксирането на дъб и джънгъл.

EXo е и човекът, който представи за пръв път на българска сцена нашумелия напоследък в Англия dubstep стил.

Behind the codename EXo (mind the capital X) we find Georgi Penkov - a person known for his numerous activities, both in art and science. 26 years old, he already has a definite musical experience - as a DJ, producer, promoter, music journalist and beatbox/darbuka performer. He is constantly interested in all new & experimental musical genres, but always keeps an eye on the mellow dubby soundscapes. Putting his endless energy and perfectionism at work, he never stops seeking new sound forms no matter if he's beatboxing, drumming or mixing together dubbystepped IDM stuff.

He takes responsibility for a wide range of in-house HMSU activities, while always remembering his dub and jungle roots.

EXo was as well the first among all bulgarian DJs who focused on the dubstep/breakstep sound and started representing it in Bulgaria.
